By accessing and using Quizzia ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quizzia, a real-time multiplayer trivia game platform. By using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Quizzia is an online platform that enables users to:

  • Create and host trivia quiz games
  • Join trivia games using room codes
  • Participate in real-time multiplayer trivia competitions
  • View leaderboards and game results
  • Browse and select from various quiz categories and genres

3. User Accounts and Registration

While some features may be available without registration, certain features may require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

When participating in games on Quizzia, you agree to:

  • Accept game results and leaderboard rankings
  • Not attempt to manipulate game outcomes or scores

Violations of fair play may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous access to the Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUIZZIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quizzia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quizzia operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Quizzia regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
