4. You'll be taken to the game lobby where you can wait for the game to start

How do I host a trivia game?

Hosting a game is easy:

1. Browse our quiz library and select a quiz you want to use
2. Click "Host Game" on the quiz page
3. Configure your game settings (rounds, time limits, etc.)
4. Share the room code with your players
5. Start the game when everyone is ready!

Do I need to create an account to play?

No, you don't need an account to join or play games. Simply enter your name and you're ready to go. However, creating an account may unlock additional features in the future.

How does scoring work?

Points are awarded based on:

• Correctness: You get points for answering correctly
• Speed: Faster correct answers earn bonus points
• Leaderboard: Your total score determines your ranking

The faster you answer correctly, the more points you earn!

Can I change my answer after submitting?

Once you submit an answer, it's locked in. Make sure you're confident in your answer before submitting, as you won't be able to change it.

What happens if I don't answer in time?

If the time runs out before you submit an answer, your answer will be marked as incorrect and you won't receive any points for that question.

Can I see the correct answer after each question?

Yes! After each question, there's a reveal phase where the correct answer is shown, along with whether your answer was correct or incorrect.

How many players can join my game?

The maximum number of players depends on your plan. Free plans typically allow a certain number of players, while premium plans may allow more. Check the game configuration page when hosting to see your current limit.

How do I share the room code with players?

Once you create a game room, you'll receive a unique room code. You can share this code with your players through any method you prefer - text message, email, chat, or by displaying it on a screen. Players will use this code to join your game.

Can I pause or stop a game once it's started?

Currently, games run continuously once started. If you need to end a game early, you can navigate away from the host page, but this will end the game for all players. We're working on adding pause functionality in future updates.

What if I get disconnected during a game?

If you get disconnected, try to rejoin the game using the same room code and name. However, you may miss questions that were asked while you were disconnected. We recommend using a stable internet connection for the best experience.

Does Quizzia work on mobile devices?

Yes! Quizzia is designed to work on all devices including smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers. The interface adapts to your screen size for the best experience.

What browsers are supported?

Why can't I join a game with a room code?
